My wife, Wilma, and I operate Top Gun Rescues.  It is dedicated towards finding the "right home" for homeless herding breeds and even more specifically, McNabs Shepherds and Rottweilers.  

     We work directly with Animal Shelters all over California, and Kansas, many of the local Rescue groups, as well as scouring the CraigsList Pet ads daily.

     Our fosters are given exposure to Canine Frisbee, Agility, and Herding (a big thanks goes to Doug Manley and his "at the Pasture" Operation). Once evaluated he/she will be available for adoption to individuals in search of  his/her the perfect forever home. 

     We will, on occassion take in dogs from private parties, but we do have conditions. They must be no more than "two years old"  They must be both dog and people friendly, our dogs live in an open environment, they play, sleep and eat together. And if you are looking for a best friend, fur kid, playmate and best friend, please contact me at TopGunK9Rescue@hotmail.com and leave your name and phone number and I will do my utmost to unite you with the dog of your dreams.

*NOTE*   Before you consider giving up your dog, please realize that foster home space is always at a premium and priority is given to shelter dogs in need. We do recognize that there are times when an owner has no other choice but to relinquish their dog. We will assess each circumstance, case by case, and will assist in other ways if we are unable to put the dog into our foster care.

Also, please understand that our guidelines require that all dogs going into the program must be evaluated as having a good temperament and show no aggressiveness towards dogs or people. Snapping or/or fear biting is unacceptable.

     Saving one dog will not change the world...

but surely, the world will be changed

for that one dog you saved!
