FRISBEE FUN FOR FIDO!    

Have you ever seen dog disc competitions or demos on T.V. or at the fair and wanted to see how YOUR dog could do in this fun activity??? Here's your chance to spend some quality time with your dog as our talented instructor, David Procida, an avid disc-dog competitor, teaches you the popular sport of Canine Frisbee!  6-week classes are scheduled on Thursday evenings in "Try out" some basics and find out if your dog has what it takes to become a good Frisbee dog! All breeds welcome!  Handlers 10 years- adult  (Pre-requisite: some basic obedience course before enrolling)

ONE-DAY WORKSHOPS will be offered on SATURDAY or SUNDAY at the following locations:

COSTA MESA:  TeWinkle Park, (located just north of Orange County Fairgrounds, meadow area on east side on Junipero, off Arlington)  Sunday, 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. on   1/24/10 and again on 3/28/10

ANAHEIM:  Rio Vista Park, (located just south of the 91 Freeway between Glassell and the 57 Freeway)       Sunday, 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. on   1/31/10 and again on 3/21/10

RIVERSIDE:  Orange Terrace Park  (located at 20010 Orange Terrace Parkway, at Deer Creek Dr....north of Van Buren and east of Trautwein Rd.),   Sunday,  9:30 - 12:30 p.m. on   2/21/10   

CORONA:  Auburndale Park  (located at  Auburndale Ave. Just south of River Road. 3 blocks west of Main Street),   Sunday,  1:30 - 4:30 p.m. on   2/21/10 and again on 4/11/10

GARDEN GROVE:  Edgar Park, (located at 12781 Topaz, south of Lampson between Springdale and Valley View in Garden Grove)    Saturday, 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. on   2/20/10 and again on 4/24/10

HUNTINGTON BEACH:  Central Park, Dog Park Area, (meet on grass area to the left as you enter the parking lot on Inlet Ave. just east of Edwards St.)    Sunday, 9:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. on  1/24/10 and again on Sunday, 9:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. on 4/18/10

LAGUNA NIGUEL:  Hidden Hills Park, (located at 27802 Springwood, Golden Lantern, 1 mile south of Crown Valley Parkway, Right on Hidden Hills Dr.  .Sunday, 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. on 1/17/10 and again on 4/18/10 (earlier TIME for summer session: 8:30 -11:30 a.m.)

LONG BEACH:  El Dorado Park, (located at 2760 Studebaker Road... Enter park at service road JUST NORTH of Willow, and follow it toward the back of the park, ...to the grass area to the right of the service road)                  Saturday, 8:00 - 11:00 a.m. on 2/20/10 and again on 4/24/10

ORANGE:   Serrano Park,  (located at 2349 Apache Creek Road, Orange, CA 92869, off Serrano Ave. about a mile from Cannon)    Sunday, 9:30 - 12:30 p.m. on 1/31/10 and again on 3/21/10

SIX-WEEK SESSIONS will be offered:

ANAHEIM:  Rio Vista Park, (located just south of the 91 Freeway between Glassell and the 57 Freeway)        Thursday evenings, 7:00 - 8:15 p.m.   

Dates:   2/4/2010 – 3/11/10   and        4/8/10- 5/13/10

Please pre-register and bring current vaccination records, $8.00 materials fee, and a lawn chair to first meeting.  Awards will be presented at a fun competition on final class meeting.
